When it comes to finding either snowboard inspiration or learning some new skills, YouTube is a goldmine. There are some great snowboarding channels on YouTube offering a mixture of tuition and fun riding videos.
In fact, in my own quest to improve my snowboarding skills, I’ve used these YouTube channels to refine my style, often while I’m sat on the ski lift.
Anyway, these are my picks for the best YouTubers for learning to snowboard, or simply enjoying some epic snowboard skills to aim for.
Malcolm Moore
Easily one of the clearest and best snowboarding YouTubers, Malcolm Moore offers a mixture of tutorial content and fun and engaging on piste action. He’s based in Alpe d’Huez so you can get a great insight into what this resort is like too. Saying that, he does pop up in other resorts such as Saas Fee and Les Deux Alpes…
I like Malcolm as he clearly LOVES snowboarding and walks the walk. His videos are also very easy to follow and actionable. His style of instruction is clear and straight talking, with not too much in the way of fluff.
In fact, I have pretty much followed Malcolm’s videos to improve both my riding and carving, as well as learning how to ride the flat much better.
Highly recommended for anyone serious about upping their snowboard skills. Or, anyone looking to learn to snowboard.

Snowboard Pro Camp
One of the original snowboarding YouTube channels, Snowboard Pro Camp is a solid resource for all levels. This Canadian channel is a great source of both snowboarding tuition and action packed riding videos. And like Malcolm they offer a wide range of easy to follow and actionable content that is both educational and fun to watch.
In fact, Snowboard Pro Camp is probably THE go to YouTube channel for snowboarding tips and tricks. They’re pretty comprehensive with everything you need to nerd up and improve your skills.
One of the cool things about Snowboard Pro Camp is that they have some good tuition for more advanced riders. For example they have some quite nifty tutorials about doing tricks in the snow park, and things like side hits.
They also offer some fun vlogs, with travel to destinations such as New Zealand, Canada and some cool French resorts too. They’re also currently doing some cool stuff out in Gulmarg, India, which has definitely made me want to go and ride there too…
Overall Snowboard Pro Camp is one of the more comprehensive snowboarding YouTube channels you’ll find. In fact, chances are they’ll come up in top searches for anything snowboarding related such is the depth of their content.

Ed Shreds
This American snowboarder has some useful beginner and intermediate content to get you hyped for your next trip to the mountain. Like the two previous YouTube snowboard accounts, he does have lots of useful videos and some great insight with something for everyone. From total beginners to advanced riders looking to level up. It’s always nice to have options when looking for someone to talk you through improving.
His style is nice and clear and easy to follow and he has a good selection of videos to help you get started with the important stuff. He even has a proper snowboarding course you can sign up for!
This fun video about how to land some easy snowboarding tricks is a good example of his content.
Tommie Bennett
Of everyone on this list, Tommie is definitely the more energetic and ‘snowboardery’ of the lot. But don’t let that scare you off, his videos are a lot of fun. Tommie offers a good mix of tutorials and content for beginners, through to vlogs, day in the life guides and more.
Tommie is also pretty prolific with his videos, offering up everything from tutorials, riding videos and gear reviews to Q&As and live webinars. He’s also quite good fun to watch and has boundless enthusiasm for snowboarding.
He’s also very good at explaining the process and how to do what you need to do.
This video about riding fast on a snowboard sums up his style pretty well.
Snowboard Addiction
With a ton of content, Snowboard Addiction is definitely one to add to your snowboard Youtube watch list. One thing that makes them stand out is that they have a bunch of content for pre-snowboard trip training, such as learning tricks or riding improvements in your living room.
They also have some useful content about snowboarding rehab, for those of us that have taken a knock and are ready to head back out there.
A lot of the videos here are short and easy to follow with very clear instruction. And again as they have so much snowboarding tuition content, you’re bound to run into them if you’re going down a snowboarding youtube rabbit hole.
You’ll also find easy access to all their snowboarding content on their website.
This guide to carving is a great example of the clarity of instruction in their snowboard focused Youtube channel.
Board Archive
If you’re looking for snowboarding equipment reviews, chances are Board Archive have got it. This American channel specialise in mostly reviews of snowboards, apparel and the odd resort run too.
There are a couple of tuition type videos, but mostly this is a channel for those who want to see what gear they should be picking up.
The content is pretty fun, but check out this Austria resort review to get you hyped.
