Planning your next ski holiday, but want to avoid the hassle of booking lift passes? While there are lots of companies that allow you to book ski holidays, not all of them include the essential lift pass.
Finding a good ski holiday package provider who includes lift passes can be a total game changer. Its one less thing to worry about, and you can just book your ski package and turn up, safe in the knowledge that your free lift pass is waiting for you.
But who offers ski holidays including lift passes?
We’re gonna list them all right here…
Yes, there are some affiliate links in here. This means you can get a great deal by clicking our links, and we earn a commission at no cost to you.
Why book package deals with ski pass included?
The lift pass can be one of the most expensive elements of a ski holiday, easily adding an extra £600 per person over a week. By including the ski area access pass into your package deal, you essentially save yourself a sizeable sum of money and avoid the hassle of picking up your lift pass too.
While there are sometimes deals to be had by buying a lift pass in advance at the resort, this isn’t always possible if you’re booking at the last minute or even if you’re not sure where you want to go.
And if you’re booking things like group holidays, big family ski packages or even a romantic ski holiday, you don’t necessarily want to be fiddling around trying to find the best options for lift passes. Especially when you can get them included in the package price.
Anyway, these package providers all offer the perfect ski holiday with those essential ski pass included at the best price.
1. Sunweb
Probably one of the best known ski holiday companies, Sunweb often offer some of the best deals in the most sought after resorts. These deals include accommodation and lift pass as standard, and you can also choose to add flights too.
Like any good package provider, you can also add on ski lessons, equipment hire and if you have children in town, book a creche too.
Sunweb often offer the same clutch of ski resorts, which tend to be La Joue du Loup, Avoriaz and Portes du Soleil, Mayrhofen and the Zillertal valley, Les Trois Vallees, Le Grand Massif (Flaine etc) and the Italian Dolomiti Superski.
This isn’t an exhaustive list of ski areas covered by Sunweb, but they do seem to get good deals in a specific selection of places. Which is great if thats what you’re after.
Their headline price is often very tempting, and they also can be a great source of last minute deals. A good place to start when looking for a good deal on ski holidays with lift pass included.
2. Snowtrex
While Snowtrex offer very similar prices and packages to Sunweb, we do tend to find they offer a broader range of ski areas in their deals. While some of these can be smaller resorts, for example obscure resorts in Germany, Czech Republic and Poland; they do also offer access to those big name ski areas such as Val Thorens/Les Trois Vallees, SuperDevoluy, La Plagne, Espace Killy, Andorra, Via Lattea, St Anton, Austria and a selection in Switzerland too.
There’s not much to choose between Snowtrex and Sunweb, as they both offer some of the most affordable package deals, all with lift pass included. Snowtrex also have some seriously good last minute offers,
However, all of Snowtrex ski holidays are excluding flights, so you don’t have the option to bundle that in. However, you can easily add extras such as ski rental and lessons at checkout if needed.
If you’re looking for seriously competitive ski deals with accommodation and lift pass included, Snowtrex needs to be one of your options.
3. Esquiades
It’s always good to have an ace in the hole, and sometimes this is Esquiades. This Spanish ski package provider offers excellent packages including ski pass as standard, to the French Alps, Pyrenees, Andorra and Sierra Nevada.
In fact, at time of writing, Esquiades have just added a whole bunch of Austrian ski resorts to their line up, which takes them into the realm of top grade ski holiday package providers.
Esquiades are especially great if you’re looking for a trip to the Pyrenees, such as Boi Taull, Baqueria-Beret, Formigal or Grandvalira.
Their holiday deals all offer lift pass in the price, and you’ll often find some very tempting deals and special offers. Flights are not included, but you can add ski or snowboard hire – they also often have free places for children, or child discounts too.
Well worth checking out Esquiades.
4. Estiber
Another ski holidays provider from Spain, Estiber have a good choice of quality ski resorts across the Pyrenees and the Alps. Interestingly, they also feature a few ski resorts in Chile on their list too, for those tempted to go check out South American ski holidays!
I often find that Estiber has some of the best offers on the more obscure French and Spanish Pyrenees resorts. However, they also have some great offers in the big Alpine resorts too, and they’re well worth checking out to see if there are any deals on.
Like all of the holiday package providers on this list, they include the lift pass as part of your booking. No flights though, so you’ll need to make your own way there…
5. SkiWorld
This British ski holiday provider offer several different packages, but the one you’re after are the Ski All In deals. These include accommodation, hold luggage, lift pass, transfers and flights, as well as ski or snowboard hire.
While they’re not the cheapest in terms of price, the fact is with everything bundled in, they are very cost effective.
SkiWorld tend to focus on a few big French resorts, such as Val Thorens, Courcheval, Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d’Huez and La Plagne, as well as a number of Italian and Austrian resorts. You’ll also find deals to Canada and the USA here, including Whistler/Blackcomb and Aspen.
SkiWorld also host a beginners week package in Les Deux Alpes, as well as a couple of single ski holidays packages and some good last minute offers on accommodation.
If you’re looking for the full package, take a look at SkiWorld.
6. IgluSki
The UK’s biggest supplier of ski holidays is, unsurprisingly, a good spot for great deals on ski holidays including lift passes. You’ll find pretty much any ski area you’re looking for in Europe and further afield here, with some excellent deals on premium resorts like Les Arcs, Zermatt, Verbier and Tignes.
Iglu also offer packages to Bulgaria, Japan, USA, Canada and pretty much anywhere with snow.
Their headline prices can often look excellent, with some of the lowest deals over 7 nights. However, these don’t often include the lift pass, being accommodation only. So when you click ‘change’ to add the ski pass, that price can quickly jump up. This is the main reason that Iglu Ski don’t appear higher up the list.
But that niggle aside, IgluSki do offer top notch deals on ski holidays around the world, with some excellent chalets and apartments. They do also bundle flights and offer all inclusive deals too.
7. Europe Mountains
You’ll find some good ski all in deals here if you know where to look and when. While Europe Mountains doesn’t offer the broadest selection, they do offer a good option for some of the less obvious ski resorts across Italy, Switzerland, France and Eastern Europe.
Look out for their ‘Free Ski’ deals, which are basically the packages with ski pass included.
Which is the best ski package provider?
The truth is, all of these ski package providers offer something different. If you’re looking for a luxury chalet or a top notch apartment in the resort centre, you’ll find it with almost all of these companies.
For the lowest prices, we think Snowtrex, Sunweb and Esquiades are hard to beat.
Bur if you’re looking for the full package with all the ski extras, try SkiWorld.
Looking for the biggest choice of destinations? Igluski, Snowtrex and Sunweb – any maybe now also Esquiades.
